Terry
O'Reilly
Terry began his career as a copywriter
for some of Canada’s
top creative ad agencies. In 1990, he co-founded audio production
company Pirate Radio & Television, which now has studios
in Toronto and New York City.
Terry has won awards from around the world for writing and directing.
Marketing Magazine chose him as one of Canada’s “Most
Influential” marketing people, and he was also named Canadian
judge for the inaugural year of Radio at the 2005 Cannes Advertising
Festival in France, and Radio Jury Chairman of the International
Clio Awards in Miami. When he’s not creating advertising,
he’s talking about it while hosting the award-winning CBC
radio series, “The Age of Persuasion.” Random House
will publish a book based on the radio show in October.
The advertising industry has given Terry the Les Usherwood Lifetime
Achievement Award, the Fritz Spiess Lifetime Achievement Award
for Television, and inducted him into the Marketing Hall of Legends
in January 2009.
He has a wonderful wife and three lovely daughters.
Who like some of his work.
